Sketchwalk rund um den Dom
Es gibt viel zu entdecken! wir starten um 13 Uhr am mächtigen Südportal beim Brunnen. Der Blick vom Kustosgässchen auf den Ostchor lohnt sich für Motivsucher. Für Nachzügler, ab 14 Uhr sind wir beim Nordportal zu finden sein… Zurück geht es durch die Kornhausgasse in den Fronhof mit Friedensdenkmal, Römermauer und Burggrafenturm. Nutzt man die Durchfahrt Richtung Hofgarten findet man nördlich davon - etwas versteckt beim Parkplatz der Regierung von Schwaben - das hübsche Hofzahlamt.
Wer sich auf eigenen Faust bewegen will rund um den Dom und im angrenzenden Domviertel findet man viele verwinkelte Gassen und schöne Häuser. Sollte das Wetter nicht mitspielen gibt es vor Ort auch viele trockene Optionen, z.B. Kreuzgang.
Wir treffen uns gegen 16 Uhr zum finalen Throwdown wieder am Brunnen am Südportal. Wir freuen uns!
Sketchwalk around the cathedral
There is a lot to discover! we start at 1 pm at the mighty southern portal at the fountain. The view from the Kustosgässchen to the Ostchor is worthwhile for those who are looking for a motif. If you’re late, we can be found at the Nordportal from 2 pm... we will walk back through the Kornhausgasse to the Fronhof with peace monument, Roman wall and Burggrafenturm. If you use the way to Hofgarten, you will find north of it - a little hidden at the parking lot of the government of Swabia - the pretty Hofzahlamt. If you want to move on your own around the cathedral and in the adjacent Domviertel you will find many winding alleys and beautiful houses. If the weather does not play along there are many dry options on site, for example cloister. We will meet again at the fountain at the south portal around 4 pm for the final throwdown!
